I grew up as a competitive athlete, living an active life between the rink, the field, and the gym. That lifelong love of movement led me to pursue a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology. During my undergraduate studies, I taught spin and group fitness classes, further deepening my passion for movement and teaching.
I was first introduced to Pilates through an activity credit course, expecting a light workout and an easy A. After a humbling first mat class, I was hooked and immediately set my sights on becoming a Pilates instructor.
After completing two mat certifications and a comprehensive contemporary certification, I found myself still searching for a deeper understanding of how the Pilates system and equipment truly fit together. That journey led me to bridge into a classical comprehensive certification with Authentic Pilates Canada (2024–26), where everything finally clicked.
I am a lifelong learner and continue to pursue ongoing education in movement and health science. In addition to my Pilates certifications, I hold a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and a Master of Science in Exercise and Sport Science. I am also a Canadian Certified Pedorthist (C.Ped(C)) with a Diploma in Pedorthics from Western University, as well as a Clinical Exercise Physiologist (CSEP-CEP).
Outside the studio, I love running, cycling, keeping up with the latest running shoe technology, and spending time with my dog, Piper.
